Michael R. Marchese, 82, of Norristown, peacefully departed on Saturday December 2, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. Born on March 5, 1941, in Norristown to the late Joseph C. & Leah (Calabrese) Marchese, he was the devoted companion to Waynette "Nettie" for many years.
Michael, a dedicated parishioner of Holy Saviour Church, proudly served in the United States Army and later owned and operated a successful contracting business until retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed the occasional Dunkin Donuts with his close friends. But, above all, he cherished moments with his beloved family, being a loving and dedicated brother, uncle, adopted grandpa and a dear friend to all who knew him.
Survived by his siblings Lucille, Joseann, and Audrey, Michael is also remembered fondly by his extended family and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Anita Lockerman, and Joseph David Marchese.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing for Michael on Monday December 11, 2023 from 12:00PM - 1:00PM at the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 403 E. Main St. Norristown PA, 19401. a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, memory of Michael.
