Paul DelBuono, Sr. Obituary

Paul J 'Brutus' DelBuono, Sr., 77, at Mercy Suburban Hospital on Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Born in Norristown, PA January 22, 1933, he was the husband of Mary E. (DiBonaventura) and son of the late Harry 'Delabo' and Philomena 'Minnie' (Lenzi) DelBuono. Mr. DelBuono enjoyed his family and cooking, known for his pasta and meatballs; was a Notre Dame booster; and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past Jan. 23rd. He was a member of Visitation BVM Church, and retired from Fleming Foods, working in their warehouse department; and was an army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his children: Harry (Joan) DelBuono, and their 3 daughters Danielle, Janelle and Regina, of E. Norriton; Anthony (fianc, Marisa) DelBuono, his children Anthony, Sabrina and Dominic; and Paul DelBuono, Jr., both of Conshohocken, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Celeste 'Chetty' Manze and Alberta 'Pudge' Frangiosa. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 9:30 - 10:45 am at Visitation BVM Church, 196 N Trooper Rd., Trooper PA. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM. Entombment St. Matthews Mausoleum, Whitemarsh Twp., PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Regina Nursing Center, 550 E Fornance St., Norristown, PA 19401
