Obituary

Robert A. Giese, 35, of Collegeville, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy.  Born on December 8, 1987 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Henry "Ed" Giese and the late Theresa (Tomasko) Giese.

Robert was an astounding young man with a vibrant, and loving personality.  In his spare time he was an avid fan of the Pokemon game as well as the television show.  Robert also loved watching movies, and most importantly The Price Is Right, his most fond memory is when his brother and sister were able to take him to Atlantic City to watch the filming of The Price Is Right, and soon after he was able to go on stage and spin the Big Wheel where it would land on $1.00.  Robert loved life and cherished every moment he was able to spend with his family and friends.  Robert was an inspiration to those who knew him and touched the lives of many with his contagious happiness. Robert was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many. 

In addition to his father, Robert is survived his siblings Edward Giese, and Kristina Giese; His grandmother Claudette; And many loving aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother.

Graveside services will take place privately at the convenience of the family in the St. Patrick's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association National Office, 161 N.
