Robert J. Cusella, Sr.

Robert J. Cusella, Sr., 75, of West Norriton passed away peacefully on Thursday December 18, 2025 at the Paoli Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 18, 1950 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Daniel, J. Cusella & Esther M. Cusella, and the beloved husband of Theresa (Cabot) Cusella.

Mr. Cusella served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1970 until his honorable discharge in 1973.  He was also a dedicated parishioner of the Visitation BVM Church for many years, and was involved in numerous church groups and organizations, such as the Knights of Columbus where he dedicated countless hours to become a 4th degree Knight. Robert also worked for many years in the custodial industry assisting at the Valley Forge Park as well as Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.  In his spare time he enjoyed casual conversation with close family and friends, but most of all he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family, he was a beloved husband, father, brother, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many.

In addition to his beloved wife, Robert is survived by his loving son, Robert J. Cusella, Jr.  One brother, Daniel Cusella; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Mr. Cusella on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 9:30AM-11:00AM at the Visitation BVM Church, 196 N. Trooper Rd. Norristown, PA 19401. Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00AM at the church.  Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Cusella to the Disabled Veteran Charity of your choice, or the Visitation BVM Church.
