Rose Fox

Rose (Genuardi) Fox, 86, in Phoenixville, PA at the Golden Living Center Nursing Home, where she had been residing since May 2007. Born March 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Antoinette (Venezia) Genuardi, and wife of the late Aubra "Lawrence" Fox. A former Noble Street resident, she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, and had worked for the former James Lees Mill and Spillane's, and a graduate of the former AD Eisenhower HS class of 1931. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, sewing, the casinos, and was a membe of Ntn SAAC. Survivors include her two daughters, Antoinette (Thomas) Henderson, of Pottstown, PA, Linda Fox Maguire, of Norristown, PA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings: Vincent "Jim" Genuardi and Lil (Gus) Bono, both of Jeffersonville, Polly Galante, of MD, and Frances Schwenk, of Norristown. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Gerrish, and siblings Charles and his wife Sara Genuardi, Mary and her husband Howard 'Whitey' Royer, and brother in laws Pert Galante and Robert Schwenk. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 11, 2009, from 9:30 - 10:20 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1100 W. Marshall St., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dekalb Pike, E Norriton, PA.
