Rose Roding Obituary

Rose N. (Ciccarone) Roding, 81, of Norristown on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Mercy Suburban Hospital, E Norriton, Pennsylvania. Born March 25, 1931 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Fiorina (Cane) and Benvenuto "Benny" Ciccarone, and wife of Joseph P Roding. Mrs. Roding a former resident of Robin Lane before moving to Jamestown Condos was a graduate of the former Norristown HS class of 1949. She attended the Franklin School of Science and Arts, was a member of the Ntn Women's club; the Red Hot Ladies Society; and a very active member of St. Paul Church involved with the altar society, guild, CYO cheer leading coach, and special education CCD teacher. She had worked at the former Sears Service Ctr. in E Norriton for a few years. Survivors include her children: Jodi Martin, of Chester Springs; Mary Francis Roding, of E Norriton; and grandchildren, Craig & Philip Wisner. She was preceded in death by son, Martin Roding; and brothers Mark V and Roland D Ciccarone. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 10 - 10:50 am at St. Paul Church, 2007 New Hope St., Ntn., PA with Mass to follow at 11 am. Burial St. Patrick's Cemetery, 2400 DeKalb Pike, E. Norriton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hematology / Oncology @ Phoenixville Hospital, 824 Main Street,, Suite 101, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
