Russell Mauceri

Russell Mauceri, 91, of Blue Bell passed away peacefully on Friday August 23, 2024, at the Morningside House of Blue Bell surrounded by his loving family.  Born on March 3, 1933, in Norristown, he was the son of the late Pietro & Anna (Bacchi) Mauceri.

Russell worked for many years for the Colonial School District as a custodian until his retirement.  In his earlier year years, he was a cement finisher. Russell attended Norristown schools. Russell was dedicated to his country and served proudly as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. But most of all he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family, he was a loving brother, uncle, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many. Russell was also his sister, Mary’s caregiver during the final years of her life.

Russell is survived by his sister Lillian Marino; Four nieces, Patricia Olejar (the late Mickey), Pamela Hill (John), Nina Wacker(the late Chuck), and Anne Milano (Michael); and two nephews, Peter Mauceri (Laurie), and Larry Marino (Enza).

In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his siblings, Perry Mauceri, and Mary Mauceri. 

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Russell on Wednesday August 28, 2024, from 10:00AM - 11:00AM at the Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St. Norristown, PA 19401. Russell’s funeral mass will follow at 11:00AM at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton.
