Salvatore DeGrazio

Salvatore DeGrazio , 87, of Norristown died Thursday, January 3, 2013, at University of PA Hospital, Philadelphia, PA surrounded by his family. Born February 28, 1925 in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Adelina (Bucchini) and Pasquale DeGrazio, and husband of Theresa (Orman) DeGrazio. Mr. DeGrazio attended Norristown area schools, was a member of Holy Saviour Parish, and was an Army veteran of WW II. He and his wife were married for over 64 years and his family meant everything to him. He retired in 1976 from Sears where he worked as a furniture refinisher. and enjoyed the casinos and playing cards. Survivors include 3 sons: Frank (Pat (West)) DeGrazio, of Worcester; Salvatore DeGrazio, of Trooper; and Nunzio (Shiela Ciociola) DeGrazio, of Eagleville; 3 grandchildren, Frank, Jr., Dana, and Nicholas DeGrazio; 3 great-grandchildren, Salvatore, Gianna, and Brianna DeGrazio; siblings: Jerry (Antoinette) DeGrazio and Dolly Graffeo, both of Jeffersonville; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Michael, Anthony, Nunzio, Isabel, Rose, and Millie. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 9 - 10:30 am, at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn, PA. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St., Ntn., PA. Interment later at the convenience of the family.
