Teresa (Carfagno) Marino

Teresa (Carfagno) Marino, 88, of West Norriton passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024 at the Abington Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  Born on November 18, 1935 in Norristown she was the daughter of the late Frank & Lena Carfagno, and the loving wife of the late Samuel J. Marino.

Teresa worked for many years as an administrative assistant for the social security office in Philadelphia, and during that time Teresa also was a devout wife and mother and focused on caring for her family.  In her spare time Teresa was an avid bowler at the Facenda Whitaker Lanes where she led the Women's Bowling League for over 60 years.  She was also involved in the local bocce leagues, enjoyed golfing with close friends, playing pinochle, and reading whenever she had the opportunity.  Teresa was also known for her vast array of recipes in her recipe book, and her culinary and baking skills were unmatched.  But most of all Teresa cherished the time she was able to spend with her family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

Teresa is survived by her five loving children, Lisa (Kermit) Oswald, Steven F. (Terri) Marino, Susan (Paul) Dean, Sandra (Christopher) Black, and Michael D. (Melissa) Marino; She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren, Lily Oswald, Ivy Oswald, Collin Oswald, Avery Oswald, Maxwell Marino, Samuel Marino, Grace Anne Marino, Harriet Dean, Cameo Dean, Spencer Dean, Michael DeSanto, Nicholas Marino, and Valentina Marino; And seven great grandchildren, Julian Grand, Cooper Grand, Mav Amus, Sage Amus, Liam Horrocks, Michael DeSanto III, and Marcus DeSanto.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Jade Cara DeSanto, and brother, Frank Carfagno.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday June 12, 2024 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the Caramenico Funeral Home, 403 E.
