Thaddeus Wienczek, Jr.

Thaddeus “Ted” Wienczek, Jr. 73, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Saturday November 9, 2024 at the Einstein Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.  Born on June 6, 1951 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Thaddeus & Gladys (Marsh) Wienczek, and the beloved husband of JoAnn (Karnes) Wienczek.

Ted worked for many years as a heavy machinery mechanic for Gambone Construction up until his recent retirement.  Ted was dedicated to his work, and his team and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. In his spare time Ted was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed working on his cars, especially his prized Corvette whenever he had the opportunity. But most of all Ted cherished the time that he was able to spend with his family, he was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and a dear friend, to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and he will be missed by many.

In addition to his loving wife, Ted is survived by his children, Christopher, Lynn Marie, and Mark Wienczek; Four loving grandchildren, Emily, Kellie, Jonathan, and Rylie.  Ted is also survived by his three siblings, Catherine, Sandra, and Karen; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Ted will take place privately at the convenience of the family at the St. Patrick’s Cemetery Mausoleum, East Norriton, PA.
