Verna I 'Meme' Campbell

Verna I. (Carvell) 'Meme' Campbell, 68, of Norristown, PA died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Mercy Suburban Hospital. Born in Liverpool, PA, she was the wife of the late Harvey A. Campbell, Sr. and daughter of the late Dorothy (Strunk) and Charles F. Carvell Sr. Mrs. Campbell was a deli clerk at Genuardi Markets. She is survived by her companion of 25 years William R. Warner, children: Harvey A. Campbell Jr., Orville Campbell, John Campbell, Glenn Campbell, Jean (Dan) McClay, Mary Campbell, Deborah Campbell, Charles (Kay) Carvell, Barbara (Donald) Carvell-Coryell, 14 grandchildren Dink, Mike, Eddie (Sara), John, Jennifer, Jessica, Chris, DJ, Dan, Brian, Jazzmyn, Nick, Ivy, Anthony, and 5 grtgrndchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Mary Storm. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 20, 2009, from 1- 2 PM at the Caramenico Funeral Home, Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Norristown PA, with services at 2 PM. Burial of her ashes will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family would appreciate memorials in the form of contributions in care of Mary Campbell, 916 W. Washington St., Ntn., PA, 19401.
