Vincenzo Scialla

Vincenzo Scialla, 75, of Norristown died Thursday, September 15, 2011, at residence. Born May 7, 1936 in Santa Barbara, Caserta, Province of Campania, Italy. He was the son of the late Madalena (Cappielo) and Antonio Scialla, and husband of Maria (Tescione) Scialla. Mr. Scialla was a member of Holy Saviour Church, he was employed as a machinist with the former Minters of Bridgeport, and Wonder Bread Baking Co. He was an avid gardener, and enjoyed traveling back and forth to Italy. He was another frequenter of Lou's steak shop, where he went daily to pick up the daily Italian paper, "Oggi". Survivors include son, Gennaro (Rosa) Scialla, of North Wales; 3 siblings: Mario Scialla, Lucia Mazzetti, and Maria Falisi, all of Italy; and 3 grandchildren: Nicole, Vincent, and Alexander. He was preceded in death by 5 siblings: Matrona, Alessandro, Domenico, Guisseppe, and Nicolo Scialla. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 from 9 - 10:45 am, at the Caramenico FH Inc., Main & Walnut Sts., Ntn., PA. Funeral Mass at Holy Saviour Church
