Virginia “Ginny” Weigner Obituary

Virginia “Ginny” Blanche (Daniels) Weigner, 71, of Norristown passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 4, 2026 at the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 31, 1954 in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Furie & Ruth Pastino, and the beloved wife of the late William H. Weigner. 

In her spare time Ginny loved to crochet and enjoyed shopping whenever she had the opportunity. She was also an avid bowler and was involved in many leagues. Ginny also enjoyed collecting Snoopy and Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang memorabilia in her spare time. But most of all she cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

Virginia is survived by her four children, William H. Weigner, Daniel (Rachel) Weigner, Kimberly (Michael) McAvoy, and Virginia Lynn Weigner; Eight grandchildren, Lilian, Aliyah, Daniel, Justin, Nicholas, Kirsten, Alexis, and Sara.  She is also survived by her siblings, Sue Rooney, Bill Pastino, and Connie Branco.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her biological father, Frederick Daniels, and her brother, Fred Daniels.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing for Virginia on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at the Caramenico Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 403 East Main St., Norristown, PA 19401.  A prayer service will follow the viewing at 11:30AM at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Roman Kupecky.  Burial will take place in the George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Virginia to https://events.lls.org/pages/epa/bigclimbphilly26/KMcAvoy.
