William “Bill” Pizzico, 78, of East Norriton passed away peacefully on Thursday January 15, 2026 at the Jefferson Einstein Medical Center Montgomery with his loving wife at his bedside. Born on September 8, 1947 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Gaetano S. “Bill” Pizzico & Mary C. Pizzico, and the beloved husband of Mary Ann Pizzico.
Bill was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Class of 1965, he would later go on to enlist in the military and serve his country proudly as a member of the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1972. Bill would later go on to work for many years in the food marketing and retail food service industry and would own and operate his own company where he would serve as CEO and President of Synergy Group. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling the Caribbean on cruises with his beloved wife and longtime friends, Barry and Rita Stock. Bill also has a great sense of humor and was an avid socializer who enjoyed having good conversations with those around him. He has written several cookbooks, including How to Buy Meat for Less Money, he appeared on AM Philadelphia as the first Butcher to have his own segment and timeslot on WIP radio. Bill was a pioneer in the food marketing world. Bill always would attend the 7:30 AM mass at St. Helena Church and always enjoyed the “Peace Be With You” part of the Mass. But most of all he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family, he was a loving son, devoted husband, big brother, and a dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and he will be missed by many.
In addition to his loving wife, Bill is survived by his sister, whom he called “Sis”, Marie “Ree” Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to Mr. Pizzico on Friday February 6, 2026 from 10:00AM-11:00 AM at the St. Helena Catholic Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00AM at the church. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
