Yolanda (Pagano) Fellin

Yolanda Fellin, nee Pagano, 83, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 20, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Celeste (Cieri) Pagano and loving wife of the late Paul Fellin.  

Yolanda,originally from Palmoli, Abbruzzi came to the United States in 1955 with her father to establish a better life for her siblings and parents in the “new world.”  In 1957 she met Paul and the two married in Toronto Canada in 1959.  Shortly thereafter, they came to America, settling in Norristown to live the “American Dream.” Yolanda worked as a seamstress at Jacob Reed in her early career. Onceshe and Paul started a family she was a stay at home Mom and homemaker for many years.    Later in life, she enjoyed a part time position running the salad bar at Genuardis Family Market in Swede Square.  Upon retiring with her husband, they enjoyed their days together tending gardens at their home, babysitting grandchildren and traveling. Yolanda was a life-long active member of St.Paul’sRC Parish in Norristown.  She worked many carnivals in the fried dough booth.  

Yolanda is survived by her son Steven (Sandra) Fellin, of Gilbertsville; daughter, Maria (Joseph) Gannon, of Perkasie; seven grandchildren, Justin, Zachary, Kyle, Amanda, Alexandra, Mackenzie, and Matthew; her sister Maria Ada (Anthony) Franzoni of Lower Gwynedd and several nieces and nephews.  Yolanda is also survived by her in laws Bruna Berto, Lolli Fellin, Grazia Tanel, Lydia Fellin and Rita (Silvano) Fellin as well as many nieces and nephews throughout Ontario, Canada.  

In addition to her parents and husband, Yolanda was preceded in death by her son Dr. David Fellin of Jacksonville, FL, her sister Florence Raimondi of West Norriton, her brother Vince Pagano of Conshohocken and in laws Ciro and Maria Fellin, Ezio Fellin, Pino Fellin, Luigi Berto and Carlo Tanel of Ontario, Canada.  

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing for Yolanda on Monday January 29, 2024, from 9:00AM-10:30AM, at St. Paul’s RC Church, 2007 New Hope St., Norristown PA. 19401. Mass will follow the visitation at 10:30am. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery Mausoleum.
